Good morning, brothers. My name is Frederick Horn, and I'll be coming to you with part two of the motivational podcast about being well balanced. And last week I left you guys with the simple structure of being well balanced. And I left you guys with a quote that I hope you did this past week. And the quote was adapt your daily routines to changing circumstances without losing your sense of purpose. See, sometimes we lose our sense of purpose within ourselves because we're not completely well balanced. And today I want to speak to you on a couple things about becoming more well-balanced within yourself and how you can help others become well-balanced. First thing that we need to do, uh fellas, is we need to recognize your weaknesses. We all have weaknesses. We all have weaknesses, but in order to be a completely balanced uh life, you gotta you gotta be able to just recognize your weaknesses. And you know what? I'm 5'9, 140 pounds. So I have to recognize my weaknesses. If I go to the gym, I can't go to the gym with the anticipation that I'm gonna be able to lift 300 pounds. I have to work my way towards 300 pounds. If I'm trying to be well balanced and being uh financially fit, I gotta understand that if I'm making $1,000 a month, I can't go out here and buy a car that's gonna cost me $600 a month. That's not being well balanced. I also gotta realize by being emotional balance that I can't I can't uh be around situations or be around things that cause me to be mad or anger or bring out my anger if I'm trying to be emotionally balanced. If I'm trying to be spiritually balanced, I can't hang out at the clubs or with my old friends that drink and smoke or do whatever. I have to understand that that's not who I am anymore. So I have to I have to be able to balance myself, and we have to be able to recognize our weaknesses to understand that those are just certain things that we just can't do anymore when it comes to trying to be financially, when it's trying to be balanced, when it comes to being uh spiritually balanced. So, you know, we have to admit that you have weaknesses in areas, and by admitting that you have weakness in areas, it's not a sign of uh it's not a sign of weaknesses, it's not a sign of weakness at all, guys. It's a sign that you are mature and that you're willing to grow. Simple. Being disposed of your weaknesses and recognize your weaknesses, it's just simply saying, hey guys, I have issues that I need help with. It's not a sign of being weak, it's a sign of maturity and growth. See, because we're all God children, and what we need to understand is before we can walk, we have to crawl. Before we can uh uh run, we have to walk. See, we we try to run when we're uh three months old when we should be crawling. It's a process. Understanding your weaknesses and getting over your weaknesses is a process that we all have to endure. So, guys, let's not be unbalanced in our life because we're afraid to share our weaknesses and we're afraid to think that our weaknesses is gonna make people think that we're not mature and we don't want to grow. The second thing that we have to do, guys, we have to guard our guard your mind. You have to guard the thoughts and what you're thinking each and every day. Because as a man thinketh, so is he. So what are you thinking? Are you thinking positive thoughts or are you thinking negative thoughts? What are you meditating on? Are you meditating on positive thoughts or are you meditating on negative thoughts? Or are you always worried or stressed or your anxiety high? You can't sleep at night because your mind is constantly spinning, your mind is constantly going, and you're trying to figure it out, and you're trying to figure it out on your own. See, guard in your mind, we can't be spiritual spiritually growing if we're still watching porn or we're still doing ungodly things with women. Emotionally, we can't be emotionally in our mind if we're still dealing with anger, if anger and and and things get you upset real fast, or or or if you just can't control, you can't have self-control. You know, we can't be physically fit if you're broke. It's just simple as that. If you're broke, if you don't know how to budget your money, if you don't know how to control yourself when it comes to spending, you can't be physically, you can't be financially fit and physically fit. You just can't be physically fit if you're in bad health, if you're just not taking care of yourself. So you have to guard your mind when it comes to all that stuff that we receive and we take in on a daily basis. And we have to be able to train ourselves to think positive daily. We don't have to train ourselves to ever think negative, it just comes to us. Because we're all born in trespassing sin. So we have to think positive each and every day. God, your mind. You know, what goes in your uh uh what goes in your heart would come out your mind, would come out of your mouth. So, God, your mind. As a man thinketh, so if he. So, what are you thinking about yourself? Put positive thoughts in your mind daily. You know, number three, guys, we have to set boundaries. We have to learn to just say no. It's okay. Learn to just say no. You know, we spend so much time taking on stress and stuff that don't belong to us, problems and issues and stress and and mental things that are not our not our problems, are not things that we should be dealing with if we just set boundaries and say, no, devil, I'm not gonna allow you to make me think like this. No, I'm not gonna I'm not gonna act like this. No, no, no. No is one of the one of the most powerful words that we can use. So why are why aren't we using it? Why aren't we using it, guys? Because we're so busy telling our we're so busy having negative thoughts about what we can't do that we don't think enough positive thoughts about what we can do. And sometimes no releases you from the stress, it releases you from things that are constantly aching you and bothering you inside your mind. So, you know, if you're dealing with stress, that can cause you to be unbalanced because your mind is not right, you're not thinking clearly, you're not making rational decisions when it comes to being well balanced. And each one of us knows making a rational decision and despair of the moment. I guarantee you. An hour later, or two hours later, you wish you hadn't said that, and you wish you hadn't did that. So, guys, let's focus on these three things this week. Recognizing your weaknesses, guarding your mind, and setting boundaries and see how God worked things out for you. Now, I left you last week with a quote, and I'm gonna leave you this week with a quote. And the quote is be can be consistent with God, and God will be consistent with you. Remember, be consistent with God, and God will be consistent with you. God bless Yahweh.
